A focused holding group built on engineering expertise
We own, govern, and develop specialist businesses in the UK electrical engineering and power infrastructure sector.
The holding company behind the expertise
Dyas Group Ltd is a United Kingdom holding company incorporated to own, govern, and develop a portfolio of specialist businesses operating in the electrical engineering and power infrastructure sector.
The Group exists at a strategic rather than operational level. Its purpose is to provide the governance framework, financial structure, and long-term vision that allows each portfolio company to operate with clarity, stability, and the confidence of group-level backing.
“We are not a generalist investor. We understand the sector we operate in, and we only operate in sectors we understand.”
Built from operational knowledge
Dyas Group was established to bring a disciplined holding company structure to a sector that has historically lacked it.
The businesses we own are technically excellent. Our role is to ensure they are also structurally excellent — governed properly, financially sound, and positioned for growth.
Our portfolio has been built within the electrical engineering sector where we have genuine operational knowledge and credibility. We do not acquire businesses we do not understand, and we do not make governance decisions without technical grounding.
The UK electrical infrastructure sector is entering a sustained period of investment and renewal. The energy transition, the growth of distributed power systems, and the replacement of ageing switchgear assets across industry and public estates all create durable demand for the services our businesses provide.
Our strategy is to be well-positioned, well-structured, and well-managed when that demand accelerates.
